The Official WoW boards scare me.

I used to think the CoH boards were bad but the WoW boards have got them beat,
and I’m not talking about the stupid posts or the constant whining and flaming.

I’m talking about the people who do not even read the posts they reply to. I mean it is either that these people just look at the topic and then make their comment or these people have absolutely no reading comprehension whatsoever. I think that is mostly people not reading the post. It is the though that some of them could actually be that stupid is what scares me.

you are seagreen
#2E8B57

Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is higher than average - You know what you want, but sometimes know not to tell everyone. You value accomplishments and know you can get the job done, so don't be afraid to run out and make things happen.

Your outlook on life can be bright or dark, depending on the situation. You are flexible and see things objectively.

I still can't find a job in my field, and I currently suspect the main reason I can’t find a job is the economy. Because of this I’ve started looking into economics and I’m finding it interesting.

I really need to learn more about economics, because I have formed several opinions already but would like to be better informed before I state my opinions on current economic theories. Basically I don't agree with any of the current major economic theories, but want to be better informed before I "debunk" them.

So does anyone know of any good websites or books on basic economics?

That Political Test Thingy [21 Sep 2004|12:38am]

Economic Liberal

You are best described as a:

Democrat

I got Democrat which doesn't surprise me too much even though I don't normally vote that way. On most social and economic issues I agree with the democratic stance, but I do have a few major differences (gun control, immigration, and current affirmative action policies). I also think that most current Democrats are far better and talking than actually doing anything helpful.

I still haven't really decided on who I will vote for, as no one really comes close to my ideas. All I know right now is that I'm not voting for Bush, and most likely not Kerry either. Since there isn't any good 3rd party candidates I'll probably just write in someone or skip the presidential section on the ballot.

Whooooo! [19 Sep 2004|04:49pm]

My web page is up, sort of. It currently has a modified version of my old page with no content. I'm planning on completely redoing the look but haven't yet decided on a scheme yet. It probably won’t get much if any content added back in until I decide on the scheme.

Dolt! forgot the link. http://substratus.net

Maybe, just maybe [18 Sep 2004|03:44am]

I've tried restarting this journal multiple times but I keep letting it go for very long periods of time without any updates. We’ll it looks like I’m going to try this again, but hopefully without the lapse in the updates. This is probably going to end up the same way as before but I don't have much better to do right now.

I'm currently redoing my website as well. Its also been a while since I’ve worked on it but that because I never remade the site when my previous (free) host just disappeared. I'm going with a paid host so I can actually link pictures images, but mainly because I've never found a decent free host. From what I've seen they are all super slow, the only one I found to not be painfully slow was my last one which apparently went out of business.

I'm still looking for a host, but I’ve already started making the site and obtained a domain name for my site (http://substratus.net). I figured I might as well get one if I'm paying for the site.

The journal that came back from the dead (in scream-o-vision) [16 Feb 2004|07:24am]
[ mood | bored ]

It been a long time since I updated my journal. You may remember I planned on redoing it a little while back but never got around to it. Well here it is in all its glory (or lack thereof).

Hopefully this semester will be my last before I get my degree. I'm taking my last two classes this semester, Java programing and Senior Design.

Senior Design is done on your own normally, and the Java class is distance learning this semester. Therefore I'm always at home, not at school. This combined with my expert skills in procrastination means I don't get much done.

Java is rather easy and I’m actually ahead of schedule for it. My senior design project is very slow getting started though, hopefully I get somewhere on it in the next week or two.

In case you are wondering... [19 Nov 2003|01:52am]
I've recently decided to overhall my journal and I wanted to give this revised journal fresh start. Therefore I've deleted a lot of posts, others post I have made private or only see-able to a sub-group of my friend list (I might expand it later but for now it is rather small).
